Four new Family Hubs opening in West Northamptonshire
The new community spaces will offer support, advice and activities for local families.
Parents and carers in West Northamptonshire are being encouraged to visit the council’s newly launched Family Hubs, which are opening this October and November in Upton, Moulton, Daventry, and Kingsthorpe.
These Family Hubs are designed to support families at every stage, from prebirth and early childhood, through to the age of 19, or 25 for young people with additional needs.
The hubs are set to expand on the support already available in these locations, allowing people to access parenting guidance, early years activities, baby classes, health advice and half-term events.
Staff at the hubs will help families find the right services and signpost them to further support for school-age children and young people. Each hub will be tailored to reflect the needs of the local community, as staff will work closely alongside community groups and healthcare partners who already share these spaces.
Opening hours and activities at the hubs will depend on their location and may be updated in response to feedback from visitors. While Moulton, Upton, and Kingsthorpe will operate as smaller sites, Daventry is set to provide a broader service, much like the flagship Towcester hub.
