Family-friendly events set for May half term at Chester House Estate
Activities range from reptile encounters to under the sea adventures
A series of family events are due to take place at Chester House Estate in Northamptonshire during the May half-term holidays.
The programme includes a number of activities aimed at children and families, ranging from animal encounters to outdoor workshops.
Events begin with a reptile experience where visitors will be able to see and learn about a range of species with the help of trained handlers.
On 25th May, a smartphone photography workshop will take place across the estate, offering guidance on how to capture images using mobile devices.
Later in the week, themed activities are scheduled including games, crafts and entertainment inspired by an “under the sea” theme.
Greg Wilcox, North Northamptonshire Council’s executive member for communities, said the events were designed to offer activities for younger residents during the school holidays.
“With lots planned on site, there are opportunities for families to take part in a range of activities,” he said.
Organisers say parking, outdoor space and food and drink options will be available during the events.
More information, including booking details, is available via the Chester House Estate website.
