E-scooter rider seriously injured after collision

An electric scooter rider has been seriously injured following a collision in the Far Cotton area of Northampton.

At about 3am on Saturday, the rider was travelling along Rothersthorpe Avenue towards the junction with Main Road when he collided no other vehicle was involved.

The scooter rider, a man in his 50s, was taken to University Hospital Coventry with serious life-threatening injuries.
