Cyclist dies in Northampton collision

Witnesses are being sought after a cyclist died following a collision on St Andrew’s Road, Northampton.

It happened at the crossroads with St Peter’s Way at about 5.45am today (Monday, March 30) when a collision occurred between a cyclist, the driver of a grey Ford Ranger and the driver of a white Iveco lorry.

The cyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital but died a short time later.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone who may have dash-cam footage that captured any part of the collision.
