Brazilian/UK investment group acquires majority shareholding in Northampton Town FC
Sports Alpha have acquired a 70% shareholding in Northampton Town Ventures Limited.
Sports Alpha, a Brazilian/UK investment group, have acquired a majority shareholding in Northampton Town FC.
The group have completed the acquisition of a 70% shareholding in Northampton Town Ventures Limited, the company that owns the majority shareholding in the club. The remaining 30% is held by existing owners David Bower, Nigel Le Quesne and Kelvin Thomas.
The club said in a statement on their website: "...Northampton Town Football Club enters this new chapter debt free, with strong foundations and an important role at the heart of the Northamptonshire community."
