Appeal after child assaulted on bus

Police have appealed for witnesses after a young child was assaulted on the Kettering to Corby X4 service.

The incident happened on 3 December, between 12.30pm and 1.45pm, when a male passenger approached a woman and her two year old daughter and touched the child inappropriately.

Another passenger intervened and the man was escorted off the bus.

The man is described as Asian, about 5ft 9in with a medium to stocky build, and between 40 and 50 years old. He had grey hair and was carrying a black bag.

Police would like to speak to anyone travelling on this bus on 3 December, who witnessed this incident.
