Police seek witnesses following altercation with dirt-bike riders
Police are appealing for witnesses after an e-scooter rider was injured during an attack near Park Farm Industrial Estate in Wellingborough.
The incident occurred between 10.05pm and 10.10pm on Tuesday, 2nd June, when the e-scooter rider was travelling through the underpass under Park Farm Way towards Rylstone and Wordsworth Road.
Details of the incident
The rider encountered two dirt-bike riders and engaged in a brief altercation.
One of the dirt-bike riders then knocked the e-scooter rider off, causing injuries that required hospital treatment.
The dirt bikes were described as follows: one white, ridden by a white man in his 20s, and the other red/orange, ridden by another white man in his 20s with a female passenger.
All three individuals were wearing dark clothing.
Witness appeal and reporting
The victim was assisted by a member of the public who contacted emergency services and stayed with him until the ambulance arrived.
