Sunderland scored a last gasp equaliser to send them to Wembley - where they face Sheffield United in the Championship play off final.

The Black Cats draw 1-1 with the visitors in the second leg - but won 3-2 overall as they bid to make their return the Premier League for the first time since 2017.

Régis Le Bris' team came into the game 2-1 up on aggregate after a narrow win at the Ricoh Arena on Friday (9 May), where goals from Wilson Isidor and Eliezer Mayenda handed Sunderland the advantage heading into the clash.

Over 46,500 tickets were sold for the second leg at the Stadium of Light, meaning the clash set a new EFL attendance record for a two-legged semi-final.

Sunderland now face Sheffield United in the Wembley showpiece later this month.
