Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience will open in Newcastle a day earlier than planned, with organisers announcing an additional Saturday opening date due to high ticket demand.

Initially set to welcome visitors from 12th July, the exhibition will now debut on 11th July at Utilita Arena Newcastle.

The exhibition features over 300 of Vincent van Gogh's works brought to life through advanced projection technology, music, and storytelling.

Organisers Annerin Productions and Paquin Entertainment are preparing to transform the arena into a 10,000 sq ft immersive gallery for the show.

Thousands of tickets have been sold, prompting organisers to advise early booking to secure preferred dates and times.

Anna Parry from Annerin Productions said, "The response from people across the North East has been incredible. Demand has been so strong that we've added an extra Saturday opening date, giving even more visitors the chance to experience Beyond Van Gogh during its opening weekend."

Jim Mawdsley from Newcastle City Council welcomed the exhibition's arrival, commenting, "This is exactly the kind of high-quality, large-scale cultural experience that helps attract visitors to the city."

The exhibition will run until 9th August, with tens of thousands of visitors expected to attend.
