Man in stable condition in hospital after stabbing in Middlesborough

A man is in hospital after reports of a stabbing in Middlesborough on Monday (29 December).

Clevedon Police were called to Bedford Street at 8.30pm.

A man, aged 29, had sustained injuries to his arms and stomach that are believed to have been caused by two men.

Police say he was taken to James Cook University Hospital by ambulance and is currently in a stable condition.
