Extensive enquiries taking place to find missing teenagers seen in South Tyneside

Northumbria Police say extensive enquiries are taking place to find two teenagers, who've been missing for around a month.

Jaydan Hatch and Alfie Armstrong were last seen together in South Tyneside on Thursday 16th October 2025.

The pair, who are from outside of the force's area, have been spoken to on the phone, but have yet to be found.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said:

"Extensive enquiries are ongoing to find Jaydan Hatch, aged 17, and Alfie Armstrong, aged 16.

"Jaydan was reported as missing on September 18 and Alfie on September 26, both from outside the Northumbria Police Force area. Enquiries suggest they are now in the Force area.

"Jaydan and Alfie have been spoken to on the phone and were sighted together in the South Tyneside area on Thursday (October 16)."
