The Come Together Festival is set to take over Newcastle's Town Moor
Robbie Williams is headlining tonight
The Come Together Festival in Newcastle is expected to take over the Town Moor this week.
It is said to be the largest music festival in Newcastle being headlined by Robbie Williams and Kings Of Leon.
North East Mayor Kim McGuinness says it will have a huge impact on the region.
She said: "It's really exciting to see Robbie Williams and The Kings of Leon.
"I'm really excited that Perrie is going to be supporting Robbie, so we've got a local act there as well.
"We want to see these massive bands and these massive acts coming to the region because people here really enjoy it.
"But also it's all about bringing more money into our economy and putting the city and the region on the map.
"People will travel to the region to see something like this.
"The Town Moor is such a brilliant place for these gigs and we've seen brilliant acts there before.
"We want more of it because we know that it attracts people to the region, but also it's great for people who live here to get out and do something fun in the summer."
