Police seek witnesses following a tragic collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash on the A47 in North Tuddenham involving a grey Ford Transit and a blue Vauxhall Corsa.

The collision occurred at 11:33am yesterday, resulting in the death of the Corsa's driver, a woman in her 60s, who sadly at the scene.

The driver of the Transit, a man in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous and careless driving.

After being taken to the hospital for checks, he was questioned by officers at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.

He has been released on bail until 3rd November while the investigation continues.

Following the incident, the A47 was closed to allow emergency services to conduct their work and for necessary repairs to the road.

Police are eager to speak to witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage that might assist their investigation.
