A woman has been banned from driving for more than three years after being found guilty of drink driving.

At around 4pm, on February 5th, 47-year-old Charlotte Watson was driving on Wroxham Road in Norwich when she collided with the roundabout at the junction of Atlantic Avenue.

Officers attended the scene and Watson admitted to having drunk some alcohol earlier that day.

She failed to provide a roadside breath test and was taken to Aylsham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

She completed the breath procedure at the station and gave an evidential sample of 93 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath- more than two times the drink drive limit.

Ms. Watson, of Dakenham Close, Norwich, appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court on May 21st having pleaded guilty to drink driving.

She was sentenced to a 38-month driving ban and ordered to pay £349 in fines and costs.

She will also be required to take part in a rehabilitation activity.

She was charged with drink driving and has now been banned for more than three years.
