Child in critical condition after Weeting crash

The child was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with life threatening injuries

A child is in a life-threatening condition following a serious collision in Weeting.

It happened at around 5.30pm on Saturday (8 November) on the B1106 (Lynn Road) when a blue Dacia Duster collided with a child pedestrian.

The road was closed while emergency services - including ambulance and air ambulance - attended the scene.

The child was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with life threatening injuries.

The road reopened at 3am on Sunday 9 November.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have any relevant dashcam footage.
