Unexploded bomb found in Norwich garden

Two roads have been closed in Norwich after an unexploded bomb was found this afternoon.

The device was discovered in a garden in Dowson Road while work was being undertaken. It was reported to the police at 1.17pm. Both Dowson Road and Wheeler Road are now closed.

A 50-metre police cordon is in place and properties within the cordon are being evacuated.

The army’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal team was called.
