Two charged with GBH in Norwich

A man was taken to hospital, initially described as life threatening

Two people have been charged following a serious assault in Norwich.

Police were called to Southalls Way at 10.23pm on Thursday (5 February) to reports of a man with serious head injuries.

Officers attended the scene and found a man with life threatening head injuries. He had been assaulted at around 10.15pm by a group of people. His car and phone were also stolen, but were recovered close by.

The man, in his 20s, was taken to hospital. Although his injuries were initially described as life threatening he is now in a stable condition.

Enquiries led officers to arrest a man and woman in their 20s.

Storm Leake, 23, of Rouen Road, and Georgina Moore, 21, of no fixed address, were charged with GBH with intent and robbery.

A woman in her 50s and a man in his 30s have also been arrested in connection with the investigation.
