The family of a woman who died following a collision in Bawdeswell last week have paid tribute to a 'kind and beautiful soul'.

40-year-old Victoria Wright died on Thursday 30 April 2026 when the car she was driving was in collision with a lorry on the A1067.

Her family shared the following tribute: "Our beloved Mum, fiancée, daughter, sister, niece and dog mum sadly passed away on Thursday.

"She was known to many as Vic, Vicky and Victoria and was a shining light for all who knew her and didn't quite realise how brightly she shone. A kind and beautiful soul inside and out, loved by all.

"Vicky filled her life with fun and laughter and although a gaping hole has been left in all of our lives, she will remain in our hearts and minds forever."
