River Ant navigation reopens after boat fires near Stalham

Navigation on the River Ant has reopened following a response to boat fires earlier today at Broads Edge Marina near Stalham.

Emergency services, including the East of England Ambulance Service, East Anglian Air Ambulance, and fire service, attended the scene to manage the situation which happened around 7.30am.

The river, which had been closed to all navigation during the emergency response, is now accessible again.

The situation has now been resolved, and the area is safe for public passage.
