Report finds trees likely factor in a light aircraft crash in Norfolk

A light aircraft crash in Norfolk is likely to have been caused by trees, close to a runaway - according to a report.
Three people were seriously injured when a plane went down soon after take off at Langham Airfield near Blakeney in October 2023.
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch said the position of the trees, in relation to the runway, were a likely factor in the crash.
It added a combination of turbulent air from the trees and a tailstrike is likely to have contributed towards the accident.
The three people on board the plane - two men and a woman - were taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, with serious injuries.
The report also added the pilot and two passengers had flown from Nottingham to Langham earlier in the day (October 10th, 2023) and were setting off for the return flight when the accident happened.
