Professor Paul Hunter works at the University of East Anglia, Norwich Medical School:
"If you are offered the vaccine then it is certainly worthwhile taking it up.
"Beyond that it's very hard to give more structured advice because people still have to go about their daily-lives, if they're well enough to do so.
"However, if you've got the classic flu symptoms and particularly if you've got joint-muscle pains and are quite unwell then you need to stay at home.
