Police looking to find suspects after Marriott's Way robbery
Police want help as two men assaulted a man and stole his phone
Police in Norwich are requesting assistance following a robbery that took place last Friday (24th July).
The robbery occurred at approximately 1:50pm on Marriott’s Way, near the footbridge over the River Wensum as the pathway heads towards the city centre.
According to reports, the victim entered the area from Wensum Park with two unknown individuals, who then assaulted him and stole his mobile phone.
Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries during the ordeal.
Police have provided descriptions of the two suspects involved in the robbery.
The first suspect is a white male, medium build, around 5ft 10ins tall, with curly brown hair and short stubble.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black T-shirt, black bottoms, and black shoes.
The second suspect is also a white male of medium build, approximately 5ft 6ins tall, with slicked-back brown hair.
He wore a grey shirt and dark bottoms during the robbery.
Officers are appealing for anyone who might have been in the vicinity at the time and witnessed the event, or has any relevant information, to come forward.
