Police appeal following racially aggravated incident in Norwich

Police are appealing for witnesses following a racially aggravated public order incident in Norwich.

The incident happened on Thursday (28 May 2026) at around 5:45pm on St Ann Lane, near the Riverside steps.

Norfolk Police says a group of teenagers approached a man and his family and were racially abusive towards them.

Officers attended the scene and a man in his late teens was arrested in connection with the incident.

Norfolk Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
