Part of A47 closed after collision

It's between North Tuddenham and Norwich

The A47 in Norfolk is closed in both directions, between the B1110 (North Tuddenham) and the A1074 (Norwich), following a serious collision shortly after 8am.

Norfolk Police is in attendance and is carrying out collision investigations.

The closure is expected to remain throughout the afternoon.

Diversion Routes

Road users travelling eastbound are are advised to follow the below diversion route, which is not symbol led

Exit the A47 at Swaffham interchange

At the T-junction turn left onto the A1065

At Mundford take the 1st exit off the roundabout onto the A134

At the Mundford Road roundabout at Thetford take the 1st exit onto the A11

Rejoin the A47 at Thickthorn Interchange

Road users travelling westbound are advised to follow the below diversion route which is not symbol led

Exit the A47 at Thickthorn Interchange and take first exit from the roundabout onto the A11.

Continue on A11 to Mundford Road roundabout at Thetford.

Take the third exit from the roundabout and continue on A134 to the A1065 roundabout at Mundford.

At the roundabout take the third exit and continue on the A1065 to rejoin the A47 at Swaffham Interchange.
