Witness appeal after street fight in Norwich leads to arrests

Two men arrested and later bailed after altercation on Union Street

Police are calling for witnesses following a street fight in Norwich.

The incident occurred on 27th June 2026 at around 10.40pm on Union Street, involving a group of men reportedly engaging in a fight.

Officers responding to the disturbance arrested two men in their 30s on suspicion of affray.

One of the men was further arrested on suspicion of possessing a class A drug.

Both individuals were taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and subsequently released on bail, with return dates set for 21st and 24th September 2026.

Authorities are seeking anyone who witnessed the altercation or may have dashcam footage relevant to the investigation.
