Norwich fans 'quietly optimistic' of regaining local bragging rights
Norwich City lost their first East Anglian derby since 2009 back in October, last year
Norwich fans tell us they're quietly optimistic of regaining the bragging rights over their rivals, today
The Canaries face Ipswich from 12.30 at Carrow Road- they've lost just one of their last twelve East Anglian Derby's.
However, the last time the teams met the Tractor Boys came away the winners at Portman Road- ending Norwich City's 14 game unbeaten run in the fixture.
The Canaries head into this East Anglian derby having won four of their last six games and with a faint chance of reaching the play-offs.
They've only lost three of their last ten games heading into this.
Things kick-off from 12.30 at Carrow Road.
"Before he came along we were really sleep-walking into League One"
Lorraine has been following the Yellows for over half a century:
"Philippe Clement has done an amazing job turning Norwich's season around and aside from the obvious improvement in fitness, he's tapped into the squad's potential and he's improved every player's game.
"Before he came along we were really sleep-walking into League One and he's motivated the players.
"I think his man-management has been exceptional"
Rob Sainty is head of Norwich's official supporters group:
"He Clement has in one word brought clarity. The players fully understand what their job is and what they need to do in any set of circumstances.
"I think his man-management has been exceptional and to do what we've done with the injuries we've had as well throughout the season is nothing short of remarkable.
"In terms of the playoffs there's still a chance"
Chris Newby follows the club from Portugal:
"We obviously want to get one over Ipswich again, but in terms of the playoffs there's still a chance.
"So we need to win every game from now until the end of the season to give us that chance- stranger things have happened".
