Norwich's Alfie Hewett has become a two-time Australian Open wheelchair singles tennis champion.

He beat Japan's Tokito Oda in a straight sets victory in this morning's final in Melbourne.

He's followed up his success in 2023.

Post-match, Hewett says "it's a relief to get past a player he's struggled against on the big stage.

"I just feel really overwhelmed with the positivity and super happy."

Hewett also won the doubles title alongside fellow Brit Gordon Reid yesterday.
