Simon Mason from Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service highlights the importance of having key items ready in case rapid evacuation is required.
With homes across the county facing potential risks due to fast-spreading fires, being prepared can make a significant difference in protecting your family and property.
" If you have to leave in an emergency, you've at least got medications or your repeat prescriptions. You've got the details of who your insurance companies are and all those bits of information that we store in a drawer at home.." Simon said.
Key documents to include are insurance papers, identification, medical information, and any other materials crucial for your safety and wellbeing.
"A few bits and pieces you would need, to keep you safe and look after you in those coming few hours and days, whilst everything is then put into place."
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service continues to handle a busy period as the risk of wildfires escalates due to dry weather.
