A man's in a serious condition in hospital in Norwich with potential life changing injuries.
He was taken in at quarter to midnight last night by a friend who found him hurt between Exeter Steet and Dereham Road.
It's not known what happened to him since leaving Colegate around an hour earlier.
A Norfolk Police spokesperson said: "We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a man who appeared to be injured, or an altercation taking place, between those two locations. The man was wearing jeans, a denim jacket and white trainers. Anyone with any information or relevant doorbell or dashcam footage is asked to get in touch."
