The directors and management of Mulbarton Wanderers and Ipswich Wanderers have expressed their dismay over the behaviour of some supporters during the football match yesterday (Saturday, 14th February).

Before and during the match, a minority of fans used abusive language and caused damage, despite multiple warnings from volunteer officials from both clubs.

The situation escalated when an Ipswich Wanderers supporter had to be removed from the stadium.

After removal, the supporter attacked a volunteer from Mulbarton Wanderers, who required medical treatment.

Police were called to the scene, and the individual has been arrested.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and authorities from the FA and disciplinary teams have been informed.

Both Mulbarton Wanderers and Ipswich Wanderers emphasize their commitment to providing welcoming environments and will not tolerate abusive or violent behavior.

They expressed their dedication to the safety of all attendees, urging their supporters and community to report any abuse, discrimination, or violence to be dealt with severely.
