Motorcyclist dies in Weston Longville crash
It happened over the weekend on Weston Hall Road
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Weston Longville.
At around 3.45pm on Saturday 12th July 2025 police were called to Weston Hall Road, near the junction with Lyng Easthaugh Road, following reports that some tree branches were blocking the road.
When officers arrived to move the branches they discovered a motorcyclist and a black Voge motorbike in the undergrowth on the verge.
Sadly the motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, died at the scene.
The road was closed whilst emergency services, including ambulance and air ambulance, attended. It reopened at around 1.30am the next day (Sunday 13th July).
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who saw the motorcylist beforehand, or anyone who may have moved any branches from the road.
