A Ukrainian woman living in Norfolk is telling us maximum pressure needs to be put on Russia- to get around the negotiation table.

Sir Keir Starmer has announced a fresh wave of sanctions on Russia and the foreign secretary been meeting European counterparts for talks about peace in the region.

The Kremlin's carried out more strikes Ukraine- despite unilaterally announcing a 72-hour ceasefire, late last week.

Vice President Vance says Russia was 'asking for too much' in it's initial peace talks- and the US has signed a minerals deal with Ukraine.

"People in Ukraine go to sleep, not knowing if they will wake up in the morning"

Natalia Scott is originally from Kyiv, now lives in Norwich:

She told us what life's like for her friends and family back home:

"Everyday I message my friends and family. They pretty much sleep on the floor and hallways to be better protected from any bomb or missile strike, that may come.

"They're tired of running to the basement when the air-siren sound".

"Lately all of our messages are pretty much, are you okay? Has your area been hit or damaged? Are you family all okay?"

"Since the start of the year, there has only been one quiet night without an air-attack of any kind.

"People in Ukraine go to sleep, not knowing if they will wake up in the morning".
