Man jailed for almost six years for supplying drugs in Thetford while on licence
A man's been jailed for almost six years for supplying drugs in Thetford while he was on licence.
24 year-old Keane Buxton, of Cornfield Road, Bury St Edmunds was sentenced at Cambridge Crown Court after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine and being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
Following sentencing PC Charlie Large from Norfolk Police said, "Keane Buxton was released from prison early on licence and given an opportunity to make positive changes to his life. Unfortunately, rather than taking that chance, he quickly returned to dealing drugs.
"He has shown a complete lack of respect for the law and clearly believed he could continue offending without consequence. I therefore welcome the sentence handed down by the court, which rightly recognises the gravity of his repeated criminal behaviour.
"We will continue to take action against those like Keane who exploit vulnerable people and cause significant harm within our communities.
