A 73-year-old man from Watton has been charged with drink driving following an incident on Norwich Road.
Norfolk Police were alerted by a shop worker who expressed concerns about a driver just before 2pm on Sunday, 27th July 2026.
Upon attending the scene, officers arrested the man on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
James Thackerey, of Akroriti Square, was charged with having 117 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
He will appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on 26th August 2026.
Thackerey has been bailed pending his court appearance.
