Man fighting for his life in hospital following crash on A47

Witnesses are urged to get in touch with Norfolk Police.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a single vehicle collision, involving a white Citroen Relay van, on the A47 Saddlebow roundabout at 3.34pm yesterday (Thursday 23 January 2025).

The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene including fire, ambulance and air ambulance.

The driver of the Citroen, a man aged in his 60s, was taken by air to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in a life-threatening condition, where he remains.

The road reopened at around 7pm.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who as any relevant dashcam footage.
