Man in his 60s dies after collision on City Road in Norwich
Police urge witnesses to come forward with information or dashcam footage
A man in his 60s has died following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on City Road in Norwich.
The incident occurred at 3.46pm on Friday 19th December, when a silver Nissan Qashqai struck the pedestrian.
The man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries but has since passed away.
The driver of the Nissan, a man in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He was later released on bail and is due to return for further questioning on 20th January 2026.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward.
