Man charged with threatening a person with a knife in Great Yarmouth
It follows an incident on Monday where three men were seen chasing people through Broad Row alleyway.
Norfolk Police have charged a man with affray and threatening a person with a knife in Great Yarmouth.
It follows an incident on Monday 14 April at approximately 12.40pm, in which three men were seen chasing people through Broad Row alleyway. One of these men was seen to be holding a knife.
Two men, one in his late teens and one in his 20s, were arrested on suspicion of affray.
Zak Paya, aged 19, of Market Place, Dereham, was subsequently charged with affray and threatening a person with a knife.
He was remanded into custody ahead of his court appearance yesterday morning (Tuesday 15 April 2025), where he was further remanded and is due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 13 May 2025.
The man in his 20s was released on bail with conditions while the investigation continues.
