Man charged after stabbing

Police have charged a man, after a stabbing at King’s Lynn Bus Station, on Saturday evening (22 August).
Officers were called to Vancouver Court, near the bus station, at 6.15pm, after numerous calls from members of the public, reporting a man had been stabbed.
A knife was recovered at the scene.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital, where he was treated for a stab wound to his stomach.
A man was detained a short time later at 7.32pm, at a property in Losinga Road and taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Cente, for questioning.
Subsequently, Keaton Switek, 19, of Poppyfields, West Lynn, was charged with GBH with intent and possession of a knife in a public place.
He was remanded in custody, to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 24 August).
