Man wanted by police in connection with Norwich assault

Police are appealing for the public's help in tracing a wanted man.

33-year-old Jacob Murphy is wanted in connection with a serious assault in Southalls Way, Norwich, on Thursday the 5th of February 2026.

Murphy is described as being 5ft 11ins tall, of medium build, with wavy brown hair, moustache, and beard.

He is known to have connections in the Norwich and Aylsham areas.

Police say that anyone who knows where he is should not approach him. They should instead contact them on 101 quoting reference 36/8689/26.

Two people have been charged in relation to this incident.

Storm Leake, 23, of Rouen Road, and Georgina Moore, 21, of no fixed address, were charged with GBH with intent and robbery.

They both appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Monday 10th of February. They were remanded in custody and will appear at Norwich Crown Court on Tuesday 10th of March.

The victim suffered a serious head injury and has since been discharged from hospital.
