Tributes have been paid to a 60-year-old woman who sadly died following a collision in North Tuddenham earlier this month.

Catherine Elizabeth Al-Bay, known as Cathy died on August 3rd.

Her family wrote.

"Cathy’s life following her retirement after a career in teaching was full of so many passions, from her attempts to visit every country imaginable while travelling solo, to her lifelong love of music and passion for all things craft.

"Over the years Cathy worked with many different choirs all over Norfolk, and she enjoyed playing on Songs of Praise. Cathy was also a keen swimmer and her extremely enthusiastic and extrovert personality meant she made friends wherever she went, and made these friends for life.

"We would like thank all those with the emergency services and also passers-by who did their best to try to keep Cathy with us. We know you did all you could and thank you for it.

"Moving on, we would like some time and privacy to try and process what has happened and try to move forward."
