"When you hit a pothole, you need to check your tyres first"
Matthew Moore is a mechanic at the 'Number One Motor Company' which is based in Norwich.
He told us what they're doing to ensure they can keep up with demand for repairs to pothole damage on cars:
"A couple of years ago we invested £2,500 into a better spring compressor which helps us repair broken coil springs quicker. On an average we probably fix 20-25 of them a week.
"Pothole repairs don't last. You can drive up any A-roads and you can see past ones deteriorating.
"I think it's being made worse by an increase in heavy vehicles. or example electric cars go through their 40% quicker than a standard car.
"When you hit a pothole, you need to check your tyres first and foremost. Have you damaged the sidewall or the tread?
"Have you buckled your alloy wheel? Is your car pulling to the left or right? If so, you might have damaged your suspension."
What's the Government doing on this?
The Government says it's given £2.8 billion to local authorities in the East of England to tackle potholes.
