Warning after drone seen flying near peregrine falcon nest at Norwich Cathedral
It's an important time for the birds as they are currently nesting
A warning has been issued after a drone was seen flying near the nest of two peregrine falcons at Norwich Cathedral.
The Hawk and Owl Trust say this is extremely dangerous for the birds and a criminal offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
Peregrine falcons are protected and currently nesting and disturbance can cause stress, nest abandonment, or harm to chicks.
The charity say if anyone sees the drone again they should contact Norfolk Police.
