Man in life-threatening condition after Norwich crash

A man is in critical condition following a collision in Norwich.

It happened at around 4.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 7 October), on Christchurch Road when a silver Renault Megane left the road and struck a wall.

The road was closed while emergency services - including fire and ambulance - attended the scene.

The driver of the car, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a life threatening condition.

The road reopened at 6.25pm.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who has information about the collision or who may have seen the vehicle’s manner of driving beforehand.
