Teenager airlifted to hospital following car collision

A pedestrian involved in a collision with a car on the A47 in Little Fransham was airlifted to hospital following a swift response by emergency services.
The incident occurred at 8:40am, prompting East of England Ambulance Service to dispatch multiple units, including an ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle, rapid response vehicle, and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
The pedestrian received immediate attention at the scene before being transported by air to hospital for further treatment.
Police are now appealing for witnesses of the crash
Officers were called to the A47 near Station Road at 8.43am after a collision between a black Nissan Elgrand MPV and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a teenage boy, was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he remains.
The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene. It reopened shortly after 4pm.
