Arrests made after teens seen fighting with weapons in Bowthorpe

Four people have been arrested in connection with a fight involving weapons in broad daylight in Bowthorpe near Norwich.

Norfolk Police say the altercation happened on Wednesday afternoon (20 May), when officers responded to a disturbance at Ambrose Close.

According to reports, the fight involved a group of young men and teenagers, armed with knives, a hammer, and a baseball bat.

Two teenagers and two men in their 20s were taken into custody on suspicion of affray and possessing offensive weapons.

One teenager and one man are currently in the hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to identify and locate two additional men, also in their 20s, who are suspected to have been involved.

It's believed that all individuals were known to each other.

Police urge anyone with information to come forward. Those who have not yet spoken to the authorities but may have relevant doorbell or mobile phone footage are asked to help the investigation.
