Four arrested after police shut down unlicensed music event

Sound equipment and vehicles seized during police operation in Toft Monks

Police have arrested four people and seized sound equipment following an unlicensed music event in Toft Monks.

The authorities received reports of the event near Elms Road at 2.50am on Sunday, 27th September.

Officers attended the site and monitored the gathering throughout the early morning hours.

A Section 34 dispersal order was issued, leading to some attendees leaving by late morning.

Police confiscated all sound equipment and two vehicles during the operation.

Additionally, one Section 59 warning and four Section 35 warnings were issued.

The arrests were made for various offences, including drug driving, possession of a class B drug, sexual assault, and carrying out licensable activities without a license.
