Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were assaulted by a group of teenagers in Lowestoft.

The men, both in their 40s, were walking along London Road North at around 9.40pm on 12th June when they were approached by the group on bicycles.

Following an argument, one man was punched to the ground and suffered a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain when he hit the ground. He spent three days in hospital and is still recovering from his injuries.

The other man was punched to the ground and suffered cuts to his face and eye.

Their assailants are described as being between 13 and 16 years old.
