Appeal after cyclist seriously injured following collision with car in Norwich
The collision happened on Drayton High Road on Friday 22 May
Police are asking for witnesses and dashcam recordings after a serious road traffic collision in Norwich left a young cyclist hospitalised.
The incident took place at approximately 9.38pm on Friday, 22 May, on Drayton High Road. A black Audi A1 and a pedal cyclist were involved in the crash, although the exact circumstances leading up to the collision are still under investigation.
Emergency services attended the scene, and the road remained closed for around two hours while officers carried out their enquiries.
The cyclist, a woman in her 20s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, where she continues to receive treatment.
Investigators are now appealing to anyone who saw the collision, or who may have captured footage of the vehicles or cyclist before the incident, to come forward as enquiries continue.
