Man in critical condition after crash on A47 in East Winch
A van and lorry collided on the A47 near East Winch, closing the road for several hours while emergency services responded
A man in his 30s is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash between a van and a lorry on the A47 at East Winch on Wednesday afternoon.
The collision happened at 1.50pm on 23 July, involving a white Vauxhall Movano van and an orange DAF truck on Lynn Road.
Emergency services attended the scene and the van driver was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn. He was later transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where he remains in a critical condition.
The road was closed for over 14 hours and reopened at 4.30am today.
