Part of Norfolk's A47 closed due to police led incident
Delays are expected and diversions are in place.
The A47 in Norfolk is closed in both directions between the A1075 (Dereham) and B1110 (North Tuddenham) due to a police led incident.
Road users travelling eastbound are advised to follow the solid circle diversion symbol on road signs.
While those travelling westbound are advised to take the same diversion but in reverse.
A spokesperson for Norfolk Police said: "The road is currently closed and as soon as it's safe and appropriate to do so, updates will be provided through official channels"
"I understand it's frustrating when roads are closed unexpectedly, especially on busy routes like the A47.
At the moment, the road is closed due to a police -led incident, and for safety and privacy reason, we're not able to share further details.
Please know that we're working hard to resolve the situation as quickly and safely as possible. We really appreciate your patience and understanding"
